data science. music. machine learning. all analog.

I'm a data scientist and machine learning engineer using the skills from my years in software engineering to unveil information in statistical data. My work is rooted in the belief that data is often not even a half-baked representation of the world around us but rather a reflection of how we perceive it – with all the biases and inaccuracies that come with it.

With that in mind, my goal is to create tools and models that also show the imperfection behind the data. Doing so, I enjoy being in the space between research and application, achieving practical solutions with the help of state-of-the-art research.

I find joy in creating music, capturing moments through film, and reading and contributing to Wikipedia (en, de). I'm also a French language learner, hobby chef and an avid explorer who enjoys discovering new things about the world.

Feel free to reach out if you are interested in collaborations or have exciting topics to discuss. I'm currently based in Vienna, Austria.
